Creating and sharing Google Forms is a great way to gather information, conduct surveys, or collect feedback. However, there might be instances when you need to copy a Google Form without having direct access to it. The first step is to obtain the URL of the Google Form you wish to copy. If the form is public or shared with you, you can easily find the link in your browser’s address bar. If you received the form through email or a shared link, ensure you copy the entire URL.

To ensure you’re working without any account restrictions, open a new incognito window in your browser. This prevents any prior login credentials from interfering with your access. Paste the copied Google Form link into the incognito window and hit enter to open the form.

Once the form is open, you can view all the questions, options, and overall layout. While you won’t be able to directly copy the form, you can take notes or screenshots of the structure, including the question types (multiple choice, short answer, etc.) and any images or videos used.

Open a new tab and navigate to Google Forms. Sign in to your Google account if prompted. Click on the “Blank” form option to start a new project.
