Step-by-Step: Convert PDF to Google Form Quiz
Step 1: Extract the Quiz Text from the PDF Open the PDF and try copying the quiz content. If it's scanned or image-based:
Upload it toGoogle Drive
Right-click > “Open with” > “Google Docs”
This uses Google’s OCR to turn the content into editable text
Step 2: Format the Questions for Google Form Input In the Google Doc:
Place each question on its own line
List all answer choices below the question
Use a symbol like an asterisk to mark the correct answer
Example:
Q: What is the boiling point of water?
A. 90°C
B. 100°C *
C. 110°C
D. 120°C

Step 4: Enable Quiz Mode in Google Forms
Click the ⚙️ Settings icon
Go to the “Quizzes” tab
Enable Make this a quiz
Assign point values and mark correct answers
